Meet Nachelle

 

Nachelle is a Licensed Acupuncturist (Lic. Ac.) and Herbalist. She is certified by the National Certification Commission of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) in both acupuncture and herbal medicine and by the Idaho Board of Acupuncture. As a compassionate, knowledgeable, and caring practitioner, Nachelle offers a customized and balanced approach to health to every one of her patients.

A profound personal experience with acupuncture and herbal medicine inspired Nachelle to attain a master's degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (MAOM) to help others achieve their health and wellness goals. Having fulfilled her pre-med science requirements, Nachelle enrolled in an intensive four-year, full-time graduate program at the New England School of Acupuncture (NESA), the oldest accredited acupuncture school in the country. As part of the well-rounded curriculum, Nachelle also obtained training in Eastern and Western Nutrition, Orthopedic Acupuncture, Japanese-Style Acupuncture, and Oriental Bodywork Therapy. Nachelle complements her treatments with beneficial nutritional and lifestyle recommendations for a simple, natural approach to health that feels good and is sustainable.

Upon the successful completion of her formal education and four national board exams, Nachelle became licensed by the State of Maine, where she had a successful full-time private practice for 8 years before relocating to the great state of Idaho. She continues to gain valuable clinical experience and supplement her training through regular continuing education classes to ensure her patients receive the highest quality of care that they deserve.
